Eastern Samar equals a surfing hotspot? Weeell it isn't a far fetched though since the province is just besides the Pacific Ocean and a gallery of The Surf Camp over at Eastern Samar's Calicoan island looks to suggest that idea. Ihe post is a bit aged at about 4-years old by lifestyle photographer Mark Dominic. The main website of the surf camp doesn't seem to be working as of the moment either. The accommodation looks to be as fantastic as the waves claimed to be at abcd beach (yeah that's the actual name). They've got an entry over at TripAdvisor here and it looks like there's only 1 disgrunted commenter out of 5 other posters who say it's paradise. Hope to check this out one of these days.
