Setting aside the usual gas-gas places city people typically go to, the adventurous will always want to set their mark in somewhere exotic, clean and well maintained if not pristine and untouched. Here's a set of great sceneries captured by Desiree Anne over her Mount Amuyao traverse in an expedition with the good folks at Pinoy Mountaineer. This mountain is said to be one of the more challenging ones to climb in this part of the Cordilleras. It's also the Philippines' 10th highest mountain. Desiree's 3 to 4 day trek takes her from Barlig of Mountain Province to the beautiful and UNESCO World Heritage protected site of the Banaue Rice Terraces.
