Sibuyan Islands of Romblon is home to a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna. Adventurers may want a shot at the challenging Mount Guiting Guiting (literally means jagged) or they can discover the many rich offerings of the island such as the Catingas River (said to be the cleanest river in the Philippines), the unspoilted beach paradise of Cresta de Gallo - an islet off Sibuyan Island, and the largely unexplored and rich Sibuyan Sea. The forests in this island is one of the most diverse and dense in the world and there are plenty of endemic plants and animals to spot, such as the Nepenthes sibuyanensis pitcher plant, the Philippine Pygmy-woodpecker, the Orange-bellied Flowerpecker. There's still plenty of life yet to be discovered.
Here's a short video slideshow of what you can find in this island.
